We are a group of friends united by a shared passion: sport in our local area! We firmly believe that the effort is well worth it, thanks to the beauty of our trails, the joy of tackling them together, and the shared experience of preparing for them. We have been organising the Scalaro race for several years, since 2015 as a mini-trail and, from 2022, in its new form as Vertical. Over time, the need arose to give a real identity to our shared endeavour, so, in 2025, we established ourselves as the Vertical Scalaro Association.

We are supported by a huge number of volunteers who, in a variety of roles and with great dedication, contribute every year to the success of the race and the running of everything involved: from the refreshment stations and safety along the route to the tireless cheering all the way up the climb.
